These dense chopping boards are pressing to create a strong surface for cutting and general commercial kitchen environments. The material's weight helps prevent scratching and marking during use. Lower density boards would scratch easily as deep scratches are hard to clean and can hold bacteria. Although high density boards will get scratched over time, they last longer than lower density ones. It's also crucial that the material doesn't absorb liquid, as this will reduce its ability to be cleaned properly, giving them an edge over wooden ones. Our dense boards are odorless and are safe for direct food contact.
Our high density plastic chopping boards are available in a variety of standard sizes and thicknesses. The standard thickness is 12, 20 or 25mm however, our boards can be made to different sizes and shapes to meet you exact requirements.
